Use Guidance

Fujigaoka Community Center(FCC) is a public facillity for the local community. Rooms for various group activities are available in the facility, such as small to medium size lecture/meeting rooms, art room, Japanese style room,kitchen and gymnasium. You can also enjoy various events or gatherings organized by FCC. Please enjoy your visits to Fujigaoka Community Center.

Close day

•  The 4^th Tuesday of the month.(when holiday, it opens on the day and closes on the following day)

  For Individual use

You are requested to fill the vistitor form at reception.

Following open corners and rooms are available.

1. 1. Book Corner (library corner)
   2. Play Room for preschool children  Their protectors are required to accompany ,all time in the room.
   3. Entertainment Corner (sets of Go ,Shougi and Othelo games are available for free use )
   4. Internet Corner
   5. Eating and Drinking Corner
   6. Copy & Printing Corner
   7. Study Corner ( Priority coner for studying )
   8. Gymnasium is available accoring to the schedule of fixed Time Zone of days of the week (please see below)

Regurations of return to home for primary schoolchildren and junior high school students

1. Primary schoolchildren and the junior high school students can stay in FCC until 5.00 pm and 6.00pm,respectively. During a summer school holiday, they are extended by an hour.
2. When their protectors accompany them,they can stay until the close time of FCC.

Room use by Groups

Five or more group member are requied when you use a room. In case of gymnasium,10 or more members are required. (Partial use of gymnasium is allowed for groups of 5 members or more.)

 When you apply a room use,please follow the following rules.

The room use application for days of the two month ahead from this month,is accepted from 21st of this month as first-come-first-served(fcfs) basis. A group who has a registered number at FCC, can apply it by telephone.

From 1st to 15th of this months,a group registered at FCC can apply two pre-applications for days of two month ahead of this month,at the reception desk. When there occured multiple applications for a use ,computor basis selections will be made on 20th of this month. It is possible to check results after the noon of 20th of this month by telephone.

Upto four room use applications are allowed in one month. Another one application is allowed on the day of use, therefore,you can keep four room use applications in one month,anytime.

The numbers of "four" is counted according to the class of room's type, independantly. If the class is different,they are counted seperately. Classification of room type is as follows,Gymnasium, Meeting Rooms (Middle & Small Lecture Rooms,Meeting Room 1,Meeting Room 2),Japanese(Tatami) Rooms,Art Rooms and Kitchen.

In the case of  room use of Afternoon Zone 2（in Table below）, room use applications are allowed without any limitation of application number in one month.

In case of room use applications for days less than one week ahead of today, they are allowed without any limitation of number of people, use applications and types of rooms, already at your hands.

•   Each Time Zone includes a time for room preparation, cleaning and check by a community stuff after use.
•   One Time Zone for kitchen is two hours. Concecutive two Time Zones are counted as one.
•   For Afternoon Zone 2,cosectutive use from Afternoon Zone 1  or to Evening Zone is counted as one use.

Loan of Books at Book Corner

1. You can loan two books for two weeks.
2. Your library card is required at loan. The card is issued at book loan desk when you show a proof to confirm your name and address(such as driver’s license, delivered letter, a health insurance card, a student identification card , passport or your registration card in Japan etc.).

  During school holidays of Summer and Spring,Mornig Zone of Sat. is used as Group Use.

    The use of gymnasium by individuals

    Seven sites of table tennis, one badminton coat and three cages for basket  shoot practice are available.They are allocated for every 30 minutes interval use. Rackets of table tennis and balls  for table tennis and basket ball,are provided for free of use.

    The se of gymnasium by groups

    Partitions of use of either whole,2/3 or 1/3 of whole gymnasium are possible.

    Time Zone of individual use may be changed for use by events by a municipal office ,organizations in the community or FCC.

Basic Rules for use of Fujigaoka Community Center

• Commercial activities in rooms and in open space are not permitted.
• Use of rooms for commecial activites is prohibited.
• Smoking is not allowed.
• Garbage is requested to bring back to home.
• Eating and drinking is allowed only in Eating and Drinking Corner.
• The Community Center does not bear any responsibility of  injuries, of a loss of personal belonging by a theft, of a private property damages etc. in the Community Center
• Parking space is not available. Please use public transportation.
• For handicaped people,please contact the reception (045-972-7021). Parking space will be available.
